Exhibition Reflection
How do you feel you did on your picture?
In some portions of it, I feel extremely proud of my work, in others I feel that I could have done better. There is always something that could I have always done better, but overall, I am glad it turned out the way it did.
What would you have done differently?
One of the things that I could have done differently would be to actually draw out the image of the girl on the mountain. She isn't that noticeable, due to the dark color of her outline, but if you look close enough, you can see the dark grey outline. I had thought it would be better to represent the darkness of the night, and frankly easier, then adding the extra detail and work for the girl.
What are you most proud of?
The aspect of the picture that I am most proud of is the transition between the different colors in the sky. It gives off the feeling that the sky is actually getting darker and the different shades of blue are just wonderful. It took an especially long time to complete this because I had to do tiny portions of the sky at a time to put a white star over the area if needed, and if I covered a large area without thought, I'd have a problem creating the constellation.
